Why you should join BAP
Networking opportunities
Every semester, BAP hosts Meet the Firms which is a networking event for business students especially interested in working in the accounting and finance industries. At each weekly meeting, there will also be a chance to introduce yourself and network with the presenting professionals as well as your fellow classmates. BAP is an awesome opportunity to start getting to know the firms and for them to get to know you!
Learn about the profession
By attending the BAP meetings and getting involved, you will learn so much about the accounting profession from current topics to interview tips to different career paths you could take. We also typically hold panels each semester with professionals and/or students who have already interned and they are great people to learn from.
Giving back to the community
One of the focuses of BAP is to give back to the community and each semester there will be multiple opportunities for you to volunteer and help out communities in need. We also serve as tutors for the accounting classes here at WSU.
Carson Career Amplifier Program
You can use BAP meetings and networking events to earn credit for the Carson Career Amplifier Program!
