Mentorship Program

What is it?

The Mentorship Program was created to give WSU students the opportunity to connect with working Professional in accounting/finance field and work to improve their own professional development. Professionals will act as a Mentor throughout the year to answer questions regarding resumes, cover letters, the general career path, and how the Mentor’s got to where they are today. This is a great way to begin networking, building your resume, and learning even more about the industry.

How to Participate:

Student Mentees will be assigned a professional mentor and are required to utilize them as a resource throughout the year.


  • Accounting, Finance, MIS majors
  • Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors
  • Willing to commit time throughout the year to engage with their mentors
  • Eager to learn more about careers in public and private accounting, professional development, and the concept of mentoring
